Did Someone Say Thai Food?

This is turning out to be Thai Week, a couple of weeks ago it was Hawaii Week. Met up with @HealthOC at President Thai in Pasadena. According to their menu, "The first traditional Thai architecture restaurant in Los Angeles, truly authentic."

I have to admit, I've passed this place all the time and haven't been, until Candice suggested it. The food was good and service was friendly and attentive.

Garlic Scallops and Shrimp

Papaya Salad
Shredded green papaya, ground peanuts, dried shrimp
fresh chili, in spicy dressing

We had other dishes too: (I just forget to take pictures...)

Tom Yum Goong
Spicy and sour soup with shrimp, chili, lemon grass, mushroom, and Kaffir Lime leaves.

Yellow Curry with Seafood
In coconut milk with potatoes, onions, and carrots.

I could eat Thai food all the time and now know of a place close to home.
