April is National Food Month I thought I'd share some  of my food favorites from the last year... I only picked a few, otherwise this list would  take months to complete. See What Jay Eats... Congratulations 2012 Maui Magazine's 'Aipono Award Winner! Leoda's Kitchen and Pie Shop Lahaina, Maui For those of you who have traveled to Lahaina from the Kahului Airport on the Honoapi'ilani Highway, you've passed Leoda's Kitchen and Pie Shop. Sister to my favorite Maui restaurant, Star Noodle, I knew that I had to go on my next visit to Maui. April 15, 2012 Having just returned from Maui, I was busy organizing all of the food pictures I took on my trip. OK, I was getting hungry too...I noticed on Facebook that Leoda's Kitchen won the "Best Takeout" category from Maui Magazine tonight. To celebrate, I opened a bag of my favorite Honolulu cookies and decided to complete this post... Last October, Chef Sheldon Simeon gave me the 411 on Leoda's and I couldn't wait to visit, I was about 3 weeks too early for the opening. So last week, I was fortunate to go. See What Jay Eats...
