Preview Masters of Taste 2017 - Pasadena

I don't always get invited to the Rose Bowl for events other than football and soccer, but tonight it's a different kind of event. Tonight is the preview of the 2nd Annual Masters of Taste , a luxury food and beverage festival which takes place on the field of the Rose Bowl on Sunday, May 7th, 2017. This is a small preview of the upcoming event on May 7th. Yes, my friends at SprieWorks were there with their Bangkok sandwich. Dodger Stadium: 2017 New Food and a New Season

It's Time for Dodger Baseball! Spring not only brings baseball, but also a new menu for Dodger fans. My annual preview visit to Dodger Stadium! My previous preview visits: 2014 2015 2016 Yay, the season is about to start! Photo by Kristie Hang We gathered in the Ketel One Baseline Club in Right Field for this season's presentation of the new food menu, stadium upgrades, and promotional items.  Before we get to the new food items, here are some of the 2017 promotional items Brooklyn Dodger Cap Night, June 19  Where it all began... A great looking shirt, Korea Night, May 24th Dodger pitcher Hyun-jin Ryu's number is 99. Jewish Community Night, August 13th. Some pretty nice promotional items so far, right Joc Pederson? But I went to CSUN,  oh well... Might have to celebrate my birthday at Dodger Stadium... Vin Scully Ceremony & Commemorative  Microphon...

The Recess Room - Fountain Valley

It's Time For Recess! Grand Opening was  on September 29th. I was invited to the opening of The Recess Room in Fountain Valley. As I walk into the restaurant, I'm reminded that it was designed by Kenneth Ussenko Design , designer of such restaurants as, The District by Hannah An Crustaceans in San Francisco The Drum Room at Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa Designer Kenneth Ussenko  is best known for creating spaces where every wall has a story. When you check in at the hostess table, it was formerly a 1900 European newspaper shear. On a nice evening, I would opt to sit out on the patio. In the restaurant's main room, the focused on the bar. so let's begin there. Cocktail Time The cocktails feature locally sourced and homegrown ingredients from the on-site herb garden.
