Uncle Tetsu Japanese Cheesecake

Image
I'm always a sucker for new dessert places. I remember hearing of a Japanese cheesecake place opening up at Westfield Santa Anita, but didn't really think much of it. Wasn't able to attend the media preview, so now's my chance to get to sample Uncle Tetsu's cheesecake . Ever since they had their Grand Opening, the lines have been long. The turkey is done!  Chef Alex breaks down the bird  for tasting, which was really good and moist. The best part was sampling the bird with  the smokey gravy. Now that the demo is over, time to sit down and sample...

See What Jay Eats... Roasted Corn, Pork Skewers, and Filet Mignon Skewers on the grill from Oh Thit! They make one of the most flavorful thit nuong (grilled pork) I've had, you can taste the lemongrass.  So good! Not sure if I can talk about it, but Oh Thit! is working on a new menu item for September. Stay Tuned! With 626 Night Market founder, Jonny Hwang. We're talking food, the 626, and Maui. The Tasting Menu from La Sriracha Macha Sauce creator, Lincoln Lee, put together a sampler to show the versatility of his sauce. Top row from the left:  Diablo eggs and toast, triple-fried chicken  and gravy  with waffle crumble, and infused waterme...
