The ice sculpture dispensing champagne Thanks to my friend Erin ( @DatingAdviceGirl ), I was invited to the Inaugural Crave Expo at The Mark of Events in Los Angeles. Event founders, Jacob Lee, Peter Paik, and Martin Kim, wanted to create a one stop shop for catering needs. I've been to a lot of food shows, both trade and various  food & wine events,  as both an attendee and exhibitor/chef. I guess I wasn't expecting a lot of soon-to-be brides in attendance, but it makes perfect sense.  Just as what the founders wanted to create, a one stop shop for catering and event services. As I arrived, Lawry's Catering was the first vendor I came across. Having catered with them at  a few events (and also as an attendee), they do a professional job outside of the re staurant  environment and of course their food is very good too. See What Jay Eats...
