If you follow me, you know I like the new SpireWorks ®  first store in Westwood. Read my Westwood SpireWorks® post HERE Now that their Eagle Rock location has opened, (Grand Opening on January 24, 2017) this one is a lot closer to me. Which means,  I can come in just for one of my favorites, Nitro Brew Coffee. What's Nitro Brewed Coffee? It's coffee that has been infused with nitrogen gas. Nitro brewed coffee is creamier and a richer  taste.   IMO, the acidity is lower and no need to add cream (if you like it that way). Yup, SpireWorks® has Nitro Brewed Coffee, BUT, they've taken it up a notch. SpireWorks DAS (New) - Westwood

I was fortunate to get a sneak peak of this new concept of Döner Kebab at the media preview of SpireWorks DAS . What's a Döner Kebab??? A Döner Kebab is a Turkish kebab, where the meat is cooked on a vertical rotisserie. This method lets the fat drip down the meat and keeps the flames from burning it. The various meats here are cooked similar to shawarma, gyros, and al pastor. Did someone say tacos???  lol The sliced meat is traditionally served on a plate with various accompaniments or stuffed in a pita like a sandwich. But... The Recess Room - Fountain Valley

It's Time For Recess! Grand Opening was  on September 29th. I was invited to the opening of The Recess Room in Fountain Valley. As I walk into the restaurant, I'm reminded that it was designed by Kenneth Ussenko Design , designer of such restaurants as, The District by Hannah An Crustaceans in San Francisco The Drum Room at Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa Designer Kenneth Ussenko  is best known for creating spaces where every wall has a story. When you check in at the hostess table, it was formerly a 1900 European newspaper shear. On a nice evening, I would opt to sit out on the patio.
