Hello Kitty Cafe Popup Container - Irvine

Got invited to the Hello Kitty Cafe
Pop-up Container opening
at the Irvine Spectrum.

The unit is truly a shipping container
turned into a kitchen.

This is the first container kitchen
in the food service industry in Orange County.

As you walk into the container to order,
you'll see the menu on the above monitor.

 Inside the kitchen.

Having worked on a food truck,
the container is just a bit wider
than a food truck.

 The Hello Kitty gift box
and bow water bottles.

The Strawberry Custard Puff looks good

After ordering, you go around to the other
side of the container to pick up your drinks.

See What Jay Eats...

 Enjoying my Strawberry Mint Lemonade.

I really enjoyed this drink
on a warm day.

It's time to sample some of the sweets.

 For today's private event,
Chocolate Opera Cake and Mixed Berry Tart

 Chocolate Opera Cake
tasting size for the event.

 Mixed Berry Tart
tasting size for the event.

Since this was a private event
 They served some adult beverages
to the VIP guests.

Yup, a Hello Kitty vintage.

 Always the consummate host...

I was helping the Hello Kitty bartender
open wine and sparkling wine bottles.

Not sure who gave her the worst opener,
but taught her how to open the bottles with it.
(occupational hazard)

 The Hello Kitty Cafe
Pop-up Container
looks to be a fun place
for Hello Kitty fans.

Lots of Hello Kitty drinks and eats
and keep your eyes open for
some special merchandise in the future.
