Honolulu Restaurant: The Whole Ox
This restaurant closed September 2013 My Honolulu friends were telling me about this chef who was raising money for a new slow food restaurant he was building in Kaka'ako . As someone who's worked with a lot of restaurants, I wanted to follow along with the progress. As my trip to Honolulu trip was getting closer, I was hoping that the restaurant would be open by the time of my arrival. The day before I arrived, I got word that the restaurant opened to rave reviews and a long line. Of course I wanted to go and so did some of my Honolulu friends.
