After spending the prior weekend at Santa Anita Park it was time to move the party to Orange County and Angel Stadium in Anaheim. Besides food and merchandise vendors, there were also carnival games and rides. What a cool location to be under one of the Angel helmets. We arrived early and a lot of the booths had to wait for  their health department inspection, so we waited patiently. OK, so I was hot, hungry, and wanted something to drink! Ordered a blackberry lemonade, from Spiked Juices They got us something to drink to cool off... It was nice seeing friends at the Ramen Burger , Mama Musubi , PopD Up , and Swirls Potato and Lemonade. See What Jay Eats... On our way to a Chef Battle in Costa Mesa, we made a detour to check out the fairly new Anaheim Packing House, opened on May 31, 2014. A beautiful area just outside of the East door Only problem...too many good places to try Unique spaces just downstairs from the parking lot So, what is the Anaheim Packing House? I don't think I could say it any better... A very cool, unique space that isn't a food court or mall, but a casual place filled with food vendors. Upstairs at the Hammer Workshop and Bar There's additional seating outside on the South side, near Orange Tei, unique seating on two railroad flatbed cars. The line at Pop Bar caught my eye and it looked really good too.  Just don't call it a popsicle! First choose the flavor you want, including sorbet. The Earl has Arrived! I used to do a lot of traveling, one of the places that I was fortunate to visit was Orlando for both business and pleasure.  One of the places I enjoyed visiting in Orlando was Earl of Sandwich.  The night before my first visit to the Earl, I had a really nice Caprese salad, made with sliced fresh buffalo mozzarella, tomatoes, and basil, seasoned with salt and olive oil.   When I arrived at the Orlando Earl, all I thought of was last night's Caprese salad and I ordered their Caprese sandwich.  With a drizzle of balsamic vinegar and pressed like a panini sandwich, I really enjoyed it.   I was excited to find out that Earl of Sandwich had opened at Downtown Disney® in Anaheim.  While I surprised my nieces with a holiday trip to Disneyland in December, I got to have another Earl sandwich.
