There’s a New Casual Dining place
in Los Angeles
to Eat Drink and Game!

at Banc of California Stadium

A Chef Tim Hollingsworth concept,
so I knew the food would be great.

You may know of Chef Tim
from Otium at The Broad
in Downtown LA.

Located above The Fields LA
(food hall)
on the Second Floor.

Tonight is one of the Preview Evenings...

Grand Opening
is Friday, October 26, 2018.

You walk in and there’s tables on
the left and the bar in the center.

Foosball tables, billiard and
pinball to the right.

Lots of places to sit, eat and drink.

Grab a menu

And order at the bar...

A creative bar menu,
by Julian Cox and Nick Meyer.

Melon Dollar Baby (L)
Macho Man Shady Savage (R)

Melon Dollar Baby
Gin, Sake, Watermelon, Hibiscus, Lime

Macho Man Shady Savage
Mezcal, Chipotle Pepper, Yellow Peach,
Pilsner and a Slim Jim

Once we got our drinks,
we took our number and
headed for a table.

By the time we sat down,
and before we started taking pics,
the food arrived.

Wow, that was really fast!

See What Jay Eats...

Hush Puppies

Fried Pickles

Deviled Eggs
(vegetarian)

Frito Pie

with chili, cheese, pickled Fresnos
and sour cream.

I’m glad this was served in
the bag, totally legit...

Double Cheeseburger

with Cheddar Cheese, Tomato,
Red Onion and Thousand Island,
served with fries.

A good burger while
watching a game...

While we were enjoying our
food and drink, our server asked
why we didn’t order the Taco Salad?

I’ll always listen to a recommendation...

TaDa!

This thing was HUGE!

A Giant Taco!

Talk about Taco Tuesday, Wednesday,
Maybe even Thursday too...

Once the shell was broken,
it was a manageable size salad,
something I’d order again.
I did miss a salsa tho...

Birthday Cake

Loved the crunchies inside
this moist cake!

Now that dessert was over,
it was time to take our tokens
and play some games.

In Tim We Trust

If pinball and arcade games
aren’t your thing,
head to the lounge.

And Lounge Around

Lots of board games to choose from.

Foosball Tables
(or Table Soccer)

Something for everyone

For a pre-opening event,
the kitchen got our food out FAST.

Kitchen Table

I wonder if I can dine here,
I’ll have to ask Chef Tim.

Before leaving,
pick up a souvenir or two

A new place that I’ll be bring friends
or just a place I want to come and
watch a game or two.

The food was better than expected,
but then again, this is casual dining
with lots of TVs and games.

Items like hush puppies, fried pickles,
deviled eggs, etc., are perfect finger
food while watching a game.
But, they have salads, sandwiches,
entrees and dessert,
something for everyone.

Even vegetarian items and
a vegan sandwich.

If you’re visiting one of the museums
at Exposition Park, a game at
The Coliseum or the USC campus,
this is a place to checkout.

I wish them much success
and look forward to returning again!
