South City Fried Chicken (New) - Downtown LA

Walk this way...

to Corporation Food Hall
in Downtown Los Angeles

for some

If you’ve never been to
Corporation Food Hall,
it’s like a mini Grand Central Market.

I got to sample some of
South City’s menu items.

They have 8 fried chicken sandwiches,
ranging in Heat level.

Just look for the “Hot Juicy” Chicken
and you’re at the right place!

Owner Joshua Kopel
(The Colonel)
building a Louisville sample.

“Louisville”

A mini version of their full size sandwich,
with pepper jelly, bourbon barrel aged green hot and poblano butter on a buttermilk biscuit.

More food, more love!

Anyone for chicken littles?

Another Executive Chef,
Sammy Monsour,
delicious creation, the mini version.

Lots of fried chicken fans!

Memphis Juke Joint Fries

with Memphis rib rub, house smoked
chicken bacon, turbodog brown aged
cheese sauce, shaved jalapeño and cilantro.

Loved the chicken bacon!

Watermelon Cucumber Salad

with lime, mint, macadamia nuts, cilantro,
Thai basil, coconut and olive oil.

You don’t have to visit Hawaii
for a Dole Whip.

AND go through that maze to get one!

If you’ve ever been to the plantation,
you know what I’m talking about...

Dole Whip
(mini version)

It’s vegan too!

Pick a Topping:
Coconut
Pecans
Chocolate

I would’ve never thought to add these
toppings, but it was really good!

It was time to go...

The Chicken thanked us for visiting!

Another good place to eat in DTLA.

If you love this place,
checkout their sister restaurant,

Thank You!
